ENF grade is the new environmental standard for panel enterprises promulgated on October 1st this year, commonly known as the 'new national standard' for panels. According to this standard, the formaldehyde-free level requirement is ≤0.025 mg/m³. Compared to the old national standard, although the difference is minimal, it can be said to impose more stringent requirements on panel production and processing enterprises. At the same time, it also means that under the current standards, enterprises that want to meet the standard must further optimize and improve in various aspects such as raw material control, process technology, and quality inspection.
As a British high-end custom brand, allvs's Asian processing centers located in Guangzhou and Shanghai, China have fully launched ENF preparation, completed ENF upgrades for all product lines in December 2021, and currently allvs has completely phased out E0 and E1 environmental grade raw materials. Currently, the selected materials only include JapaneseF☆☆☆☆and the higher ENF grade.

allvsProducts that meet the highest ENF standard have stricter testing values than the U.S. Carb naf zero-formaldehyde certification!

Note: Although Japan's and the U.S.'s sampling methods are slightly different from our national standard—for example, Japan does not allow edge sealing while our country allows it—the industry universally recognizes that the numerical requirements of the national standard are very low.
Previously, the U.S. Carb naf and Japan's F☆☆☆☆ were considered the highest formaldehyde emission standards. In Carb naf, NAF stands for 'No added Formaldehyde'.
Because formaldehyde exists everywhere in nature, in trees and in our human bodies (see image below), we cannot claim 0 formaldehyde (merchants' claims of 0 formaldehyde are all deceptive), we can only say that no additional formaldehyde was added during the production process.
